We welcome practitioners of all levels! If you're a beginner, feel free to let your instructor know so they can offer helpful variations and guidance. We also offer classes tailored specifically for beginners:

We recommend bringing a yoga mat and a water bottle. If you don’t have a mat, no worries—we have one available for you. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and fully enjoy your practice!

Yes, we recommend signing up in advance to reserve your spot. Drop-ins are welcome, but availability may be limited.

There is 1 hour street parking in front of the studio, as well as across the street. There is often plenty of space in the El Cerrito parking lot across the street, too!
(Please do not park in the O’Reilly’s parking lot, they only have a few spots and need to save them for their customers. Thank you!) -
If you practice about once a week, our Mini Membership is designed just for you. For those attending 2–3 times per week, our Unlimited Membership offers the best value.
Class packs are also available for those who want more flexibility.

Yes, our monthly members can pause or cancel their membership with a 7-day notice. Memberships can be paused for up to 2 months per calendar year. To request a pause or cancellation, please email us at info@somayogawellness.com

Classes are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend a class you’ve signed up for, the class will be forfeited. However, you can remove yourself from a class any time before it begins by logging into your WellnessLiving account and viewing “My Schedule.”

We get it, sometimes it happens! We have a 10 minute grace period after class begins. After that, the door will be locked and the class will be forfeited.

Not to worry, we have a lost and found you can check next time you’re in the studio, just ask the front desk when you arrive! If you need to come get it before your next class, the studio is open 15 minutes before and after each class. You can view our schedule here to plan accordingly.

The minimum age requirement to join class is 14. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
