What is Yin Yoga?
Yin is a yoga style that evolved from the Taoist yoga lineage. All together, there are 26 and each is held for 3-5 minutes each. Each pose focuses on flushing out different meridians, the same energy channels used in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

Yin is an active practice (unlike a restorative flow), and it can be very effective in releasing on all three levels of your body; physically, mentally and emotionally. It is mostly a floor based practice that actually allows you to let go of your muscles, which results in a palpable cleansing sensation of the fascia.

This is the medicine and the magic of Yin.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a technique of physical, emotional and energy healing, and had its origin in Japan. This modality aims to help energy flow and remove blockages in a similar way to

acupuncture or acupressure. Improving the flow of energy around the body can allow relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of physical and mental illnesses.

During the workshop participants will receive Reiki in all their main 7 Chakras while doing the Yin yoga poses. The combination of those two practices (Yin yoga and Reiki) will create space in your physical body, nourish your nervous system, promote balanced energy, encourage deep relaxation and increase your ability to cope with stress. It is our hope that this workshop will provide a powerful and deep experience of energy healing for the physical, mental, emotional and energetic bodies.
